Sudbury Nearby: Meldrum Bay
This small village is on the western tip of Manitoulin Island, about 133 km west of Little Current. This town was named after a town in Scotland, and has one of the finest harbours on the Island. It was once a busy fishing port, home to much of the Lake Huron fishing fleet, and stopping pint for many Great Lakes steamers. The town has a large quarry nearby for LaFarge Canada for concrete and road construction. The town itself is now focused on the tourism trade.
